SAHM here 🙋🏼♀️I love my life, staying home with my kids, keeping my house clean, I have a loving and supportive husband. Not everyone is bitter and hating this life. I never feel like I’m robbed of anything or worry I’m going to be left with nothing because my husband and I love, communicate and stay true to each other. There are so many of us out there who are living this life, enjoying it and all the blessings it gives us.

i love being a stay at home wife. i get to finish all my assignments early in the morning and spend the rest of the day doing one of my hobbies or napping or baking.

all I do is walk my dog for 2 hours, cook healthy foods, tidy up the home, yoga workouts at home on repeat everyday , life is so horrible for me 😂

Two bachelor’s degrees. Two successful businesses. Former CMO in corporate. Now a stay-at-home mom, a lot of women are chasing goals I’ve already accomplished. Now I get to wake up every day and pour into the one role that actually outlasts titles, salaries, and LinkedIn bios. It’s not for everyone but it’s beautiful with the right partner at the right time . But always have that foundation . I can bounce back in any role because I’ve laid that foundation

My boss's wife is a sahm to their 2 daughters. She's a nurse but also is a dog trainer so she started training dogs on the side a few years ago for some extra "fun money". After a couple years of that, the amount of dogs she's training grew very quickly. Now, she makes more than double what my boss makes and runs a kennel and training service and has basically built a one-stop-shop for all canine-related needs in town. She built all of this from her back yard and has now expanded into a new building, several employees and is operating a whole business while raising her girls. And it all started because she just was restless being at home all the time. You gotta have the drive to do SOMETHING when you're home all day every day, or you'll lose your mind.

I was raise by a sahm of 11 and let me tell you that’s a life I never ever want to live, I’m choosing to get educating, being independent, in med school currently and i am a licensed esthetician!

they don't wanna hear you but you're right. i became disabled after my partner and i moved in together and lost my job because of it. i haven't been able to work so i take care of the home as best i can until i can work again. now, it's different because i didn't get a choice. this wasn't my decision. but my experience was the same- my schedule was based on his and it's so boring. thankfully, im back in school to give myself more accessible options for work, but i could not do this forever.

my mom is divorced and she was a working woman (a doctor who loves her job) before and after her divorce and it really helped her sustain herself and me

My boyfriend and I just got our first apartment together and I start work in may as an rn so I basically had a whole month of staying at home. I’m bored and unfulfilled. I can cook and clean all I want but what do am I supposed to do the other 14 hours I’m awake😭

married for 22 years, SAHM for 16 years now....I love it.... the most comments I get is don't you get bored? bored?!! no not me, besides the homeschooling, house cleaning, cooking and normal stuff, I also garden and can jams/jelly, I raise chickens and sell eggs, I'm a beekeeper and sell honey and I started a cottage bakery from home and make custom cakes/cookies so I don't get bored I stay busy and have learned new skills while being at home....

I’m a stay at home mom and wife and it’s amazing! Being stuck in a cold office with no windows all day every day sounds like a nightmare 😂 I have goals WITH my husband and my life is FAR from boring. Before I got married I did the restaurant jobs and i absolutely hated it.

I was a SAHM, currently a SAHW- I agree 100%. Education and experiences define us. I have been married 25 yrs, very secure but one should always be able to take care of their self, and simply have their own identity.

I got married right out of college and had kids. Stayed home for 20 years. It wasn’t until I was in my 40’s, went to grad school, and started a career that I felt like a full version of myself. I loved staying home with my kids and am still happily married but having an identity outside of that was a game changer for my mental health and sense of self.

My mom was a sahm for about a decade while my brother and I were little. She worked before and after (she does amazing work, prison reform!!!) but when she was a sahm, she always had passions, dreams and things she was working towards. She always had community outside of our family, and invested her mind into beautiful projects. I am so grateful I grew up with a mom like that, she was always learning, dreaming and pushing forward and taught me to do the same😌
