100% report to the police, for both types of shouting x

Two things. 1. If you hear him shouting at his wife and are worried for her safety ring the Police and report concerns around domestic violence. They will attend and carry out a welfare check. 2. You could consider contacting your council/local neighbourhood Polcing team and discuss a community protection warning. shouting at your kids for playing in their own garden is unreasonable behaviour. Google community protection notice for more info.

Knock on his door and ask him to keep the noise down. If he asks when the noise is tell him it's from him shouting. Turn it back on him.

I’d sit the girls down and tell them they have full permission to ignore him. Not be scared, I’d put a camera up and get them noise cancelling headphones. I’d buy them musical instruments and a karaoke machine. Maybe some steal drums for the summer.

Personally. I’d be out there getting him told. No way I’d be letting that slide. And I’d stick a speaker in the garden playing music 😂😂😂

Log everything. put cameras up and call the council and police. any interaction needs to be recorded. My husband was attacked but the police said without video evidence its their word against ours and couldn't take it further. that said the community police officer were wonderful

We had the oldest man in the uk with an anti social behaviour order. And he made our lives hell. Best thing we did, however, was to get planning permission for a 7 foot fence and got it built between us.

I think you need to build a paper trail, good that you have reported it to his landlord, get cameras up and make a police report, make notes. Your children should be able to play in the family garden,

Make a effort to talk to him -and work out what the problem his , you maybe able to agree on what the issues are and if they can be alleviated, maybe it’s certain toys , or certain times …you +possibly his wife are the people stuck in the middle so are in the position to mediate ….owning vs renting is irrelevant for who has more power in this situation

I would knock on and have a word with him.Not sure why I picked up on the we own , he rents. As a renter I dislike the renters aren't responsible/ don't care. We had genuinely noisy neighbours and kept a paper trail of logged calls. Your kids have every right to play and make noise.

Put music on outside when the children are out - put a polite note through their door pointing out it’s your garden and your children are only being children, send a copy to the letting company and make a log of everything he shouts with date/time
