I went to TrinityDC University and Catholic University and the Shrine was an almost daily presence in my life then. It was beautiful having it.

its the tallest because there's a height limit for the buildings downtown near all the monuments so they don't get blocked out. the basilica is far enough away from the center of dc, they didnt get the height limit. but that also means its out of the way and not part of downtown.

It’s the most beautiful church. Evertime I am there; always bring tears to my eyes. I feel god love and sacrifices for us. The basement there stories for you to lost your thoughts in Jesus Christ stories
