@saphiamoulana: Does corporate life really guarantee security? When people ask me why I’m not scared to start over in my thirties… It’s because this isn’t the first time we’ve had to rebuild. But it is the first time we’ve chosen to risk this much on purpose. Hi, I’m Saphia. My husband and I have just sold our home, sold our cars, and walked away from the corporate careers we spent our twenties building. On paper, our life made sense. It was stable. Predictable. Safe. But it didn’t feel aligned with the future we kept imagining. So we’ve undone our foundations in the hope of building new ones - together. For the next 365 days, we’re documenting this journey publicly. This is our one-year experiment. If we succeed, we build a location-free life doing meaningful work side by side. If we fail, we come back with less money, a CV gap, and no safety net. Either way, you’ll see it all! If you want to follow this journey as it unfolds - the uncertainty, the risks, the messy middle - I write a free weekly newsletter sharing what we’re learning in real time. Link in bio 🩷

Allahumma Barik congrats to you both from a Muslim sister 🤗. Rizq is from Allah, and so is sakinah. When we hold onto each other through financial hardship, Allah places barakah where we least expect it.

Nazafi Ugail :
The greatest gift in life is our children.
I once heard in a Hadith that there are three things that bring barakah into a person’s life: a good home, a good spouse, and children. Sometimes we don’t even realize that the blessings we receive may come through what Allah has written for our children. Allah may open doors for us in places we never even imagined existed.
My own story reminds me of this often. I have had moments of struggle and uncertainty. The only place I cried was in sujood, because only He truly knows what is in our hearts.
When our first child was about to be born, I was struggling even to think about going to the doctor. But just before her delivery, out of nowhere, I received a project. The client even paid me upfront. From that moment until today, Alhamdulillah, Allah has never let me down.
There were times when I felt down, but deep inside I always knew that His support would come.
So keep the piousness and goodness alive, and make sure those values are passed on to the children as well. In the end, it is only Allah who provides sustenance.
May Allah bless you and your family with barakah, peace, and success.
