@johnmayergear: Yesterday, John was at the University of Southern California at an event hosted by Greg Philingages, sharing stories from his career, giving insights on his creative process, and playing some songs. I wanted to share this cool clip of him talking a bit about his approach for soloing, which is something quite special for sure, in terms of how he doesn't want to play what the guitar itself would dictate to play, but to play coming from a deeper perspective, aiming for a singing approach to his phrasing. He used his PRS Silver Sky Faded Black Tee satin prototype and also his Martin OM-28JM Signature serial 083.
