@mitigatestress: Deep inside your body is a protein called laminin. Laminin is part of the extracellular matrix. It helps anchor cells. It stabilizes tissue. It quite literally helps hold the structure of your body together. Under a microscope, laminin appears cross-shaped. A long arm with shorter arms branching from it. That is not theology. That is molecular biology. Colossians 1:17 says “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Science describes a structural protein that helps hold tissue architecture in place. Scripture declares that Christ holds all things together. Psalm 139:13 to 14 says “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” The same God who formed you in the womb designed the molecular scaffolding that supports every organ, every breath, every heartbeat. It’s not about trying to make science say something it doesn’t. Laminin’s structure has been studied for decades. Its cross-shaped form is simply how it’s built, and that shape is what allows it to anchor cells and support the framework of our tissues. It is about recognizing that the deeper we look into creation, the more order and intentional design we see. You are not random tissue; you are intricately formed. You were skillfully designed at the cellular level, knitted together in the womb, fearfully and wonderfully made.
