dont forget insurance like auto uses credit score and can effect the rate you pay

You do not need credit. It how much you tangle with debt. We did manual underwriting for our mortgage. As long as you don’t make 500 a month. It’s a number you have to keep tangoing with debt to upkeep because it will disappear.

You also need some kind of credit for most apartments, too. Also! It's much easier to lose your credit (late payments, defaulted payments, etc) versus building it back up again. Bankruptcy is not always the answer 😭

I've had all of these. I'm on my 2nd car loan. last one was paid off almost 10 years ago. I had a student loan & grants & I currently have a mortgage. I'm also up to my neck in credit card debt because that's what happens when you don't get paid enough or work enough hours & you have bills to pay or vehicle issues to pay for. Sometimes I hate being an adult & having all this responsibility. I've had personal loans & have one I'm currently trying to pay off but it's really difficult right now
