I find You need to wait a good couple of days after painting to apply the tape, so it don’t take the paint off.

ok, so enough with the tape!😅 get a big piece of cardboard and hold it against the FULLY DRY surface you are not painting. use a small foam roller & rather take only a little paint and reload your more often than too much paint. also, lightly sand the cabinets before you add more paint. remove residue with a clean, light colored, slightly damp cloth - dab don't wipe. good luck 😅

The best hack my father in law taught me is to get a wide puddy scraper like this and just use it to cover the part you don’t want to pain. Works perfectly and saves u so much time on taping!!

sorry others have probably said it but you need purple tape, it's low tack, or frog tape
