I mean, he technically doesn't even know if he's Fontainian to begin with But that doesn't change that he was doing a mad gamble here, cause he obviously could just as well dissolve for all he knew Tbf, the logical thing to do would've been to watch that gate and when it shows signs of hitting it's limit to get the heck out of there and close those isolation gates BEFORE it actually breaks Cause, who says pure primordial sea water is even freezable? I wouldn't have bet on that more than on my unknown heritage if I were Wriothesley 😅
