@andreabuckettcooks: Tag a friend who needs to hear this! The women that are hardest on themselves are always the ones trying to eat well, move their body more and reduce their stress. When they they start seeing changes in their body or bloodwork they feel defeated. Then tweak and obsess about what it is they did or didn’t do to cause the changes. The truth is we can do all the right things and still have little control over some of the changes that happen. it’s called being human. Be kind to yourself.
THANK YOU! Why is our default always self recrimination! Better to take things day by day and practise gratitude...but takes effort!

When I had cancer people would say WILD things to me. Implying that it was because of what I ate etc. it wasn’t.

Listen Sister I say this daily. Our genetics are the reality. My mom was the bend over backwards. And she died like her mom from cancer. I am eating and doing what I want… cancer will kill me one day. So I am eating the muffin.

This!!! I was beings normal human doing life, slipped and impinged the nerve in my hip trying to catch myself. It’s been almost 18 months of rehab and I’m finally able to walk normally. Also, HUGE thanks to the physio who clocked that I was trying to do everything without any anti-inflammatory medication so I was just trying to rehab my leg by hurting myself more. All to say life is a journey that takes many paths - do the best that you can as long as you keep trying.
