@the3rdlegion: Salamander Scout No. 3/5, the Sniper. This Neophyte is the designed marksman/precision gunner of the squad, and features both a sniper rifle and an Active-Camo suit designed to keep him hidden. The active camo was heavily inspired by the Prey series, which was quite good! I tried my best to capture what engaging active camo would feel like. I had to make the hexagons still large enough so I could paint grass and scenery into them convincingly still. Turns out grass is hard to draw! The actually real looking grass tufts is from the highland grass set from @gamersgrass I know there are a lot of different interpretations of active camo out there, but this one is mine. What do you guys think of my active-camo design and of the Scout-Sniper? #warhammer40k #warhammercommunity #warhammer #miniature #paintingSalamander
