As someone who didn’t meet my husband until I was 32, got married at 34 and had my babies at 36 and 39… I remember how freeing it was to be single and child free. The life you’re living isn’t selfish at all. It’s beautiful. As is the life I live. And how everyone woman chooses to live. The beauty is in the freedom of choice.

It is a personal choice. I can do what you do now my children are adults, but I still prefer spending time with them than anyone else. You said your mum is your bestie, imagine being a bestie to your own daughter or son one day, it’s a million times better. But you’re right, living with someone else’s moods and ways can be tricky, so I ditched their dad and kept them 🤣🤣 it’s peace at its very best 😁
