@livingwell.stl: I used to be the one who always thought the grass was greener somewhere else. Looking at other people’s success wondering why I didn’t have it. Why I was single. Why I wasn’t thinner. Would a different city be better? Another season? Another version of me? I was constantly measuring my life against what I thought it should look like. Always reaching for more. Always chasing something new. Always believing the next level would finally make me feel enough. It wasn’t until I learned that it was never about the external. The grass doesn’t get greener because you move somewhere new. The grass gets greener because YOU change. When I started building strength. When I chose myself daily. When I stopped waiting to be chosen. When I realized I bring value into every room I walk into. Nothing changed overnight. But everything changed when I stopped trying to escape my life and started fully standing in it. Cheesy as it sounds, the grass is greener wherever I stand now because I’ve done the work to grow. That’s the hardest part...the part none of us what’s to sit with or change. But that’s the very part that changes everything. #wellness #community #health #Fitness
