@alhaidar_a313: يُعدّ المختار الثقفي من أبرز الشخصيات التي ارتبط اسمها بالأخذ بثأر الإمام الحسين بن علي بعد استشهاده في معركة كربلاء سنة 61هـ. فبعد الفاجعة التي هزّت وجدان الأمة، قاد المختار في الكوفة حركةً رفعت شعار نصرة آل البيت والقصاص من المشاركين في قتل الحسين. استطاع المختار أن يجمع أنصارًا كُثُرًا، وأعلن أن هدفه إقامة العدل والانتقام ممن تلطخت أيديهم بدم الحسين. وخلال فترة حكمه القصيرة في الكوفة، طارد عددًا من القادة والجنود الذين شاركوا في واقعة كربلاء، فاقتصّ من بعضهم، وأرسل برؤوس آخرين إلى محمد بن الحنفية تأكيدًا لتحقيق وعده بالأخذ بالثأر. وهكذا ارتبط اسم المختار الثقفي في الذاكرة التاريخية بحركة الثأر للحسين، وظلّ مثار جدل بين المؤرخين حول شخصيته ودوافعه، بين من رآه نصيرًا مخلصًا لأهل البيت، ومن نظر إليه بعين النقد السياسي والتاريخي. Al-Mukhtar al-Thaqafi is remembered as one of the most prominent figures associated with avenging the death of Husayn ibn Ali after his martyrdom at the Battle of Karbala in 680 CE. The tragedy of Karbala deeply shook the Muslim community, and in its aftermath, al-Mukhtar led a movement in Kufa calling for justice and retribution against those responsible for Husayn’s killing. Gathering many supporters, al-Mukhtar declared that his mission was to defend the family of the Prophet and to hold accountable those who had taken part in the events of Karbala. During his brief rule over Kufa, he pursued several commanders and soldiers implicated in the battle and carried out punishments against some of them. It is also reported that he sent the heads of certain figures to Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyya as a sign that he had fulfilled his pledge of vengeance.
