İyilik zinciri David’in hayatını tamamen değiştirdi!

For way too many years, I thought the Sunday scaries were just part of being a teacher. I loved my students. I loved teaching. And for a long time, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. But somewhere along the way, I started losing myself. Every Sunday evening, that feeling would creep in. Not because I didn’t want to get up early Monday morning. But because I knew what the next five days were going to look like. Giving everything I had to everybody else’s children and coming home with barely anything left for my own. Driving home in complete silence because I couldn’t handle one more sound. Spending Saturday trying to recover from the week and Sunday dreading the next one. And then feeling guilty because I had a career I once loved, so why was I so miserable? For 17 years, I convinced myself that being exhausted was just part of being a good teacher. That if I cared enough, I’d keep pushing through. But eventually I realized something. I wasn’t tired of living. I was tired of living a life that left me too exhausted to enjoy it. When I started learning how to make money online in 2024, it wasn’t because I had some grand plan to become an entrepreneur. I was a teacher and a mom who wanted a little extra money for her daughter’s dance expenses. That’s it. But somewhere between figuring things out, making my first sale, and realizing there were actually other ways to earn an income, something changed. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I had options. And in May of 2025, I walked away from the classroom. Not because those 17 years meant nothing. But because the life waiting for me outside those classroom walls meant something, too. Now I get to be present for the little things. The slow mornings. The random afternoons at home. The dance practices. The moments I used to be too exhausted to enjoy. And I don’t spend Sunday evenings dreading Monday anymore. I spent so many years believing I had to choose between making a living and actually enjoying my life. Turns out, I didn’t. And if you’re a teacher sitting there tonight with that familiar pit in your stomach, I hope you know you’re allowed to want something different. You can love what you do and still decide it’s costing you too much. I’m a former teacher, a mom of two teenagers, and a woman who started completely over in her 40s. And these days, I’m pretty passionate about showing other women that the career they chose at 22 doesn’t have to determine the rest of their lives. Especially when there’s still so much life left to live. ❤️ #teacher #teacherburnout #formerteacher
