Pocket prep! It helped me pass the NCE and CPCE - one and done. ❤️

I used the pocket prep app, listened to the purple book in the car, and did the purple book review questions. I googled practice tests and took one a week. I recommend taking the day off from studying the day before. If you don’t know the material by then, cramming won’t help much. I got 103 and passing score was 80. You got this!

I’m taking mine in person to avoid distractions (even in my own home) plus the lockdown will yell at you if you breathe wrong which will stress me out and I love that testing centers offer noise cancelling headphones which I need bc noise is super distracting for me

You got this! Unfortunately read the answers as what you think they want, not what you as a trauma informed therapist would do!

pocket prep!!!! super underrated. Yes purple book but review content with pocket prep quizzes just retake quizzes and tests. I feel like the questions on the test were more like pocket prep. Also in person helped me lock in bc I struggle with concentration! Lmk if you have any questions ❤️you got this

I bought the purple book hard copy as well as audiobook version so that way when I read it while studying, I could revisit the content and double study while in the car or doing chores. There are several podcasts that helped me as well, and I used pocket prep to help set goals and make it fun. You’ve got this!!!

Purple book is good. But I thought the questions would be structured the same way, they weren’t

I live in an apartment in the middle of the city with an unpredictable orange cat. So I took mine in person. It actually helped me focus better. To practice I took a bunch of practice tests in different spaces so I could be used to being uncomfortable then studied my weak areas. Hope this helps. You got this!

The purple book is great especially if you use the audio prep. There are also some good practice tests out there.

I’m taking it in April and have been going through the purple book, 80 questions a week. I write down every question I get wrong and read through all of them. Also pocket prep and Dr. Pam videos. But I haven’t passed yet so take this with a grain of salt lol. Good luck!!

I did it at home; it was convenient and easy. My dad even knocked and came in for a millisecond and I shewed him away with no issue. Flag the questions you’re uncertain of; as you go questions will provide you with info you can utilize in previous questions! So flag them and come back at the end once you go though it initially

Purple book - I have a color coded study guide that is structured off the purple book. Then I used note cards for questions I struggled with for when I’m on the go. I have the study guide linked on my account!
