There needs to be a “Maddie Law” that says if an absent parent is ABSENT, The parent who’s active has the right to make 100% decisions on said child. If there’s not phone calls, court appearances, NOTHING, the law HAS TO BE CHANGED!

before I say anything else... her death already has meaning. even without the organ donation and honorwalk that you wanted for her so her death would have a meaning. but the system is so unfair the her and you. her story touched many. her name is already everywhere. don't understand this the wrong way but she saved me. i wanted to end it myself but then her story came across my fyp. seeing you and her stopped me from doing it. I wish that she lived. for both you and her and all the people who loved her. but it already has meaning. madelyn aurora marie will never be forgotten!

I’m going to say this again. Please be prepared for what happens when they take her off the vent. It’s not easy to watch and you need ICU to explain it. It’s extremely traumatizing, and something you should never be alone for. For my mother it was not something that was instant. I sat with her for hours while she was passing.

Why is it down to HIS say when he has never been there? Why doesn’t the parent who raised and took care of her have the final say? Why isn’t what is best for your daughter being considered. This is so sickening.
