Absolutely not! I agree if you have gone to the pub for quality time with the husband and left kids at home no way would I want to sit with someone else’s kids sharing the table. It doesn’t matter if they are just reading a book. What if you are having a personal conversation. Also personally I would them feel responsible for this other persons children if I am in a room at the table with them and the parents are in another room of the pub. If the pub is too loud for them then be responsible and take them home.

No, they are still children, why would they want to leave their children sat with complete strangers!? And you’d also have to be careful of the conversations you were having as two random kids would be sat with you, effecting your evening. It was very much a them problem. Agree with Ashley, go home if it’s too loud 🥴🥴🥴 xx
