Tbh we need a psych unit to treat psych cases. Officers are not trained to do that.

When you work in the field you understand that this is typical behaviour from the client. These situations take place on a daily basis where the client would prefer to be hospitalized instead of incarcerated. Correctional centres have policies in place to ensure the safety of the client for these situations. The cops use of excessive force looks to be caused by too many repeated scenarios that has lowered his sense of trust and ability to sympathize. Clear example of the failed systems ability to cause trauma on both sides
