Today I treated an 87-year-old patient with a history of sciatica and non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy. He walks with small, cautious “baby steps” to prevent falls due to reduced sensation and balance impairment. Through targeted physiotherapy including balance training, gait re-education, neural mobility exercises, and lower-limb strengthening, we are working to improve his stability, confidence, and functional independence. Age is not a barrier to progress — with the right rehabilitation approach, even elderly patients can regain safer mobility and a better quality of life.
