@cathern_8_: Meet Nikki who had a home for all of her life & suddenly her owner passed away. The owner’s landlord kept the cat but it was supposed to be a temporary situation. Sadly no one wanted Nikki because she was a senior so the landlord came to the shelter as a last resort. As you can see she is terrified not knowing her future will be which is common among shelter cats that had their world turned upside down. We did gain her trust somewhat but this environment doesn’t replicate a true home environment. We believe once she leaves the shelter she will be a cat that will be an amazing addition to a loving family. We also want to stress to future adopters to have a plan should anything happen to you, so your pet doesn’t end up like Nikki. Besties let’s rewrite her story as it doesn’t need to end here. You know what to do. The shelter is tagged in the video #sheltercat #rescuecat #animalshelter
