Honest advice everyone: start saving, and I mean AGGRESSIVE SAVING, make arrangements and try to go back home or move somewhere else. This is not going to get any better. They DO NOT see us as people, we are cattle to them.

This is pure betrayal from UK government…. Day light robbery from these highly skilled workers. There are very few people get more than 50k …. & it should not impact on people who are already in the existing route …. Thats a pure betrayal

That was not what I was told when I applied to come here. I swear....this is so unfair .... Imagine being tied to an employer for 10 years because if you want to change jobs, you have to look for an employer who will give you sponsorship. I had an unfair 1st employer, I was mentally and physically drained...I had to leave or die ....and someone will have to endure this for 10 years

I was a skilled worker and naturalised as British citizen. However My wife is on dependent of skilled worker route at the moment and will qualify for ILR next year in 2027. What will happen on our route? Please guide. As I am British citizen now, will it mean my wife will exempt from this change?

If you got your first Working visa (Skilled) before April 2024 you are under Transitional regulations. Do your research guys is always best 😊

the way i look at it, is they promoting modern slavery, making one stuck with their employer and if they are not happy with the work environment they would be handed 60 days to search for a 50k job or leave.

Please can you advise when exactly is it coming to effect? You did mention August, but is it end of August? Lets say if I m now eligible to apply for ILR based on old rules in August, I would hope I should be able to apply as per old rules. And when I submit application I assume it is considered under old rules etc.
