I’m day 2 post op- the first day and a half was super rough. Stay on top of your pain medications. Start stool softeners a few days before and continue to take them after. Get reusable hot/cold packs. Have nausea bags in case you get sick. Rest, but make time to walk every couple of hours because it really does help. The biggest difference I have noticed is that my energy levels are amazing!! Before I was always so freaking tired!! I can’t wait to see how I’ll be in a few days!

Different organ but I can relate and lemme tell ya it was the most amazing year after, so many things changed without dealing with the pain
