@potatomeg: One of my favorite documentaries. Grey Gardens documents the peculiar, socially withdrawn lives of little Edie and big Edie, relatives of Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Don’t get me wrong, I love JFK jr and CBK, but I am obsessed with the Edies. While y’all are fantasizing about the glamor of the Kennedy family’s “Camelot,” at least read Once Upon a Time: The Captivating Life of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. It’s actually a great read and you’d be surprised how the Hulu FX adaption, Love Story, differs. You can watch Grey Gardens for free on YouTube. #carolynbessette #jfkjr #greygardens #90sfashion #jackiekennedy

Gilmore girls once again made me smarter at 12 than I had any right being.

cescamarchesini :

We studied this film for my visual anthropology class. The topic is very fascinating but the doc itself and the directors' methods are very problematic

Oh yes...I watched this. I think mental health came into play.

I’m so here for this, I made my husband find grey gardens in the Hamptons just so I can see it in person. It’s stunning.

I watched Grey Gardens last night, the actual documentary and the newer one from 2009. Little Edie deserved so much more!
