🇧🇷 Comecei a tocar garçom em Cacilhas, na Cândido dos Reis, em frente ao @o_mirrita_cacilhas e nunca mais parei. Lá a gente tinha uma dinâmica quase diária, onde o @hugopereira80 , que trabalhava lá, sempre cantava comigo alguma música, entre elas Ela Partiu, Sozinho, Stand by Me ou Can´t Help Falling in Love, até que um certo dia o @joaquimdossantos519 , que também trabalhava lá e é experienciado com grande bagagem no fado e pimba, sugeriu cantarmos juntos Garçom, e assim fizemos várias vezes pra animar os almoços por lá. Além de ser um grande hino do brega no Brasil, uma das músicas responsáveis por estourar a bolha do género no nordeste espalhando o estilo musical pelos quatro cantos do país, ela ficou muito popular em Portugal lançada pelo @marante_oficial . Venho lapidando esta minha versão desde então, e é por isso que ela faz parte do concerto “A Rua e Eu”: um presente que as amizades de Cacilhas me trouxe e eu amo tocar 🥰✨ Conhece a original do Reginaldo ou a do Marante? 👯‍♂️ 🇬🇧 I started playing “Garçom” in Cacilhas, on Cândido dos Reis, right in front of @o_mirrita_cacilhas , and I never stopped. We had this almost-daily little tradition there, where @hugopereira80, who worked there at the time, would always sing a song or two with me, things like Ela Partiu, Sozinho, Stand by Me or Can’t Help Falling in Love. Then one day @joaquimdossantos519 , who works there ass well an is a seasoned singer with a strong background in fado and pimba music, suggested we sing Garçom together. And so we did, many times, bringing a little extra life to lunchtime in Cacilhas. Besides being one of the great anthems of Brazilian brega music, it was also one of the songs that helped take the genre beyond its stronghold in the Northeast and spread it across the whole country. It also became hugely popular in Portugal through @marante_oficial ‘s version. I’ve been shaping and refining my own version ever since, and that’s exactly why it became part of my A Rua e Eu concert: it’s a gift that the friendships I made in Cacilhas brought into my life, and one I absolutely love playing. 🥰✨ #reginaldorossi #musica #brasil #musicabrasileira #brazilianmusic
