I disagree with you polyamory is a relationship orientation some say even a sexual orientation I think it's both I've been that way all my life and it's the way overcoming jealousy and you can share an emotional bond with more than one person I've been polyamorous ever since I can remember I was one of the first to come out over 25 years ago when no 1 even knew the name As a Buddhist we are always told to be true to ourself to who we are whether I have 10 Partners or no Partners I'm still polyamorous it is me part of my identity it's not what I do No one could say it's not long-term It is part of who you are just like being gay are you gonna say gay people don't last polyamory or being polyamorous is not a choice for a lot of people it's who they are they cannot be monogamous😁

I am polyamorous and I understand what the studies say but I have deep meaningful relationships with each of my partners, my partners know about each other and each have their own relationship outside of ours. Each partner meets different needs that others have tried to and just can’t. I’ll admit I only have 2 partners and don’t want anymore but I’ve been with 1 of them for 12 years and the other for 6 years

Anthropologically, we are not built for monogamy. Humans have consistently maintained non-monogamous dynamics. Monogamy was imposed by the patriarchy to control the flow of wealth. It’s fine if you want to enjoy a monogamous relationship, but if you think that these cannot be healthy, supportive relationships that last for years I have so many people you can talk to

Monogamous is not one man one woman it can also be two women. It can also be two men. It could be a trans woman and a man or a trans man and a woman do not define monogamy between men and woman.

Just my humble opinion, Polyamory, swinging, c@ck holding etc will eventually break those relationships emotionally, a man and woman’s biology isn’t built for those relationships and very few people survive it emotionally..!

I’m heavily against polyamory relationships when I was single I was asked to be the main one and I was only open to one person partner ship the deal breaker was he cried about it because I was not willing to go with what he wanted and that was multiple women… 😂 such a blessing in disguise I have not heard from him in years

I believe in monogamy to a degree ,,,if your partner can fulfil all your wants and needs people would not need to have other relationships ,,in my relationship for 7 1/2 years I had no desire to be with anyone else and still to this day has not been with anybody else,, nor have I laid my lips on anyone else,, no not to say that I had fantasy talk with her and set the guidelines and never cross the line,, I was just being true to myself and true to her ,, ,, in poly amorous do people have others to ,,,cook or clean or fix their car why is it when you introduce human touch it becomes a bad thing ,,this is where I’m confused ,,would it be cheating on your spouse when you went and did all those things,,hmmmm ,,

You saying “how biologically human is built” is kinda ridiculous, sorry. In society we not only rely on biological instincts - starting from shaving to starting wars. And yes, polyamory is a wary hard way, but it can work if people in this relationship are really ready and conscious about it
