I highly suggest odoban as well. Buy the big jug at Home Depot for $10. It deodorizes, kills mold & mildew, and helps stop static cling. I also use it to clean my showers & washer and as an air freshener.

That’s not a good idea because detergent is basic and vinegar is acidic, they cancel each other out. You can rinse with vinegar but never mix.

Odoban is the best i use it in every wash no smell of my pets cause I enjoy that on the furniture blanket my dirty clothes so yes, this stuff is awesome and you’re right white vinegar and baking soda

Also, if you cook really smelly stuff, pour vinegar in a bowl and leave it overnight. You won’t even know what you’ve cooked the morning after.

I’m 30 and just used vinegar for the first time in my life this week in my towels because they had that weird musty smell, took it right out and made them soft! Will never go back!

I tried this on our dog bed covers and couch covers the dogs sleep on daily, it didn’t work well and the whole washer just then smelled like vinegar for a month! Had to wash our own clothes at the neighbors! 😂
