Thirty years ago I went to Vegas. Had been going a few times a year for a couple years. Was in my mid 20's. Playing blackjack. Got 8's against a 6. Split and got a 2 on each. Doubled down and got a 10 on each. Had $4k riding and felt great. Dealer flips over a jack for 16. I'm feeling euphoric. Yep, hits a 5 and wipes me out. Spent two days broke in my hotel room. Turn your addiction into another addiction like investing (not trading).

My friend and I go a couple times a yr. We play 20-40 at each casino, when it’s gone or we’re up we move onto the next casino. We had to limit ourselves or we’d do exactly what you did
