For a cheetah, that’s not just a number, that’s a story. 🐆🫶🏼 Faith survived meningitis earlier in her life, an infection that causes inflammation around the brain and spinal cord and requires intensive veterinary care. Not every animal survives. She did. When you watch her walk now, it’s not about speed. It’s about resilience! She isn’t suffering, she’s an older cheetah who overcame something serious and is still here. The Cheetah Conservation Project works in hands-on, ethical conservation; rehabilitation, lifelong care for non-releasable animals, and carefully managed, genetics-based breeding to support declining populations in South Africa (home to around only 7,100 cheetahs). This is conservation too. From field work and wildlife capture to rehabilitation and ethical breeding, it all matters. Not always a sprint.
