My life long friend’s daughter died and I was driving out of state to be with her and help her pack her daughter’s belongings. My husband was the one who encouraged me to go! While driving, my MIL called me and told me “my place was at home with my family”. Me and my husband have been married 31 years and we have a wonderful marriage, but all of our arguments are usually over his mother!

I got groceries delivered to our house (mine & my husband’s) and she happened to be there. She tells my husband in front of his daughter that he needs to go help bring in the groceries because there is a blonde delivering them 🙄. I’m not a blonde. What was she expecting, he would go out and flirt with her??

When my kids were 1 and a newborn my ex was away for work. I was going through postpartum and was told at the hospital if I ever felt overwhelmed that I should call for help. I called my ex mother in law and told her I was close to losing it and I needed a break. Years later when we separated my ex mil started to tell people I wanted to kill my children when they were babies and she saved them.

I was divorcing my husband and going through a custody battle and it sounds bad but I was pregnant and had a new fiancé and they called an emergency meeting for a custody thing and I’m a manager so it took me a second to get there and she said Alexandra better hurry I’m gonna take custody of the baby in her belly! What?

My mother-in-law and sister-in-law showed up at my baby shower, and when I opened the door, they both seemed upset. I said come in. I’m so glad to see you, and my mother-in-law said we’re missing an Astros game for this. What the heck? Is your first grandchild in my belly and that’s what you’re gonna say? They proceeded to sit on the back of the room for the entire shower, pouting awkwardly.
