these things work great i always put them in the washer then air dry them.. but the cages dont last long and break 😭 ive been through 3 of them.

I give them a good scrub then thoroughly rinse with water and let the arizona sun do a 30 to 45 minute hot/crunch dry i call it cuz its like new again! gotta be on it tho or you'll have a sun bleached hat!!

I soak in a sink with a little dish soap and detergent. lightly scrub with sponge or old toothbrush if necessary. then rinse and air dry. works great.

that will still messed up the hat in any washer its going to destroy material the Fabrics try just putting a couple bounce sheets inside the hat for a day or two that should get rid of the sweat problem instead of destroying your hat in a washing machine
