I lost my mom 19 years ago, the grief was finally bearable, then I lost my dad 2 weeks ago today and it’s like I lost them both at the same time. That chapter of my life of having parents to care for and who cared about me is over. It’s a weird feeling being in this world without either of the 2 people that brought you into it. It’s just a sadness that sits with me so heavily and it’s the worst most lonely feeling in the world.

Oh my gosh. Instantly bawling. My dad died on a Tuesday in March 5 years ago 💔 On Friday my sister should be 66, but she’ll always be 64. We lost our mom almost 18 years ago and my brother 53 days before my sister. Sometimes those calendar days (and even the ones leading right up to it) the air just hurts to breathe. Sending you hugs ❤️thank you for this, it’s beautiful

This spoke volumes to me. My mom died on March 17th 2022. It was a Thursday. I think of her every day. She left a heart in the clouds as she slipped quietly away 💔. Thanks for these words, I too really miss my mom 💕

God I felt this. Lost my dad in 2019 then my best friend in 2023 and like, the grief gets quieter but never goes away. And when she gets loud, she’s deafening.

This..🥺 easter was the last holiday with my son.. he passed a week later.. so when april starts to creep up, that date on the calendar becomes all sorts of heavy.. this will be 7 years .. and my heart still knows before I even know the date🥺❤️
