My BF in Los Angeles signed up for a 100k solar roof 9-25 she has been trough so much unnecessary BS and taking time off work for now 10 mandatory multi agency inspections. Now she has jumped through all the hoops but has to wait more for some arbitrary reason, it’s been 5 months and her bill is still $250 though it should be close to zero THEY WANT US TO BE SLAVES ON A convenient monthly payment plan

I have sunrun and we got the backup battery that should last 48 hours if the power goes out. The power has went out 2 times since we had it one time when it was dark battery lasted 12 minutes. Second time the sun was out the power went out and it only lasted 30 minutes. First time we called them they told us ohhh looks like your using the same amount of power that your taking in. Huh? Shouldn't the battery be charging at all. Second time we called they told us oh it looks like you dont have it turned on we went on the app it showed it was only 18% charged and there wasn't a way to turn it on and off on the app. So were at the point where we are gonna tell them we want the battery taken off because why are we paying $60 a month for a battery thats not doing anything for us.

They told me I needed a meter that was sourced from china and because of the tariffs it was taking so long. 9 months later and it finally works - I think but no Chinese meter. They have a tenuous connection with the truth.
