YES! Now imagine the entire world seems to be inexplicably obsessed with bowling. Bowling is an integral part of the culture around you, including like 80% of the songs, books, movies, etc. people spend a huge amount of time bowling and talking about bowling, and building their lives around bowling. You grow up thinking it must be an exaggeration or a prank. you assume it’s an unspoken thing, that nobody actually really loves bowling that much, and they just play it up for social reasons. But then eventually you realize it’s all real. It wasn’t a prank. People really do love bowling that much.
