My emergency c section was 10x harder than my 2 planned c sections by far, even complications aside. And my thought process on deciding that or a vbac was, what if I go through all that trauma again just to get another emergency one?

Just found out our second baby is breech at 32 weeks, so while there is a chance of her flipping, I was also told to mentally prepare for a cesarean. This made me feel so much less anxious about the potential situation. Thank you!

I also had a scheduled c section and I 10000% would do it again. I saw lots of stuff online kind of fear mongering me about c sections, but it was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had.

Not so fun fact, I threw up as soon as I got on the table right before they let my husband back before they started to open me during my c section and the started dry heaving during it too…worst anxiety I’ve ever had

Try for the vbac if you can! I had a c section and then 2 vbacs and the vbacs were wayyyyyyy better

I am all for people doing what they want and I don’t want to share my entire experience because my experience is probably rare, but I’d highly recommend a 2nd C-Section over a VBAC. I had an emergency C-Section with my 1st child, then tried a VBAC, and ended up with another emergency C-section. Like I said that’s probably rare, but why mess with what worked well the first time is my thought.
