A hard conversation is scary not as your not close but because you don’t know if your close still after the conversation - you don’t know that side of their-self of whom your going to have a conversation with , you can know somebody forever and be close but not know forever new aspects of their growth is why it’s scary (their daily epiphanies caused from their daily experiences and learnings ) , you don’t know the side of what they think of all that will be raised in the hard conversation . A hard conversation is called further getting to know each other which is scary in ways as what if I don’t like this about them what I may learn about their decision of who to be and grow into during the conversation ?! So the hard conversation can only bring you closer together if you find common ground to agree on or find common ground to disagree on . Each can also disagree with each other in inquisitive mind open wanting to know why way the other thinks that . It can only be inquisitive if you think teaching each other and trying to understand each other is going to help the other side with coming to join you at your perception , or you to their perception of all that’s in the hard conversation . for closeness to then appear and seem as love , only if you respect the other as a individual separate from yourself with their own free will and mind and taste and loves can you really love them instead of your self . You can only love someone despite them not agreeing with the problems solutions the hard conversation raises if you choose to respect them as separate from yourself /an individual with free will . You can love others without being close in agreeing remember that, to love someone does not require you to understand them , that’s why love and understand are two different words . You can have and feel respect and love to others without the need for closeness . I guess ultimately it’s what you define closer as in this TikTok , closer together in what way ? Feel more love for ?, more understood by ? More akin to ? More the same as though they are your twin self ?
