To each their own but at 35 years old you’re missing out on the largest benefit of the Roth IRA, tax-free growth. Having REIT’s and dividend based ETFs are hamstringing that Roth. At 35 years of age, you have full license to go max growth with some of the other ETFs.

Have you compared the growth bs value markets over the last 20 years? Young people should have more growth in their portfolios. Dividends are nice but the total returns aren’t near growth indexes over the long haul.
