This is exactly why I don't hate Raim. She's a complex characters with flaws that's actually well written. This is what a real person is. A mistake a lot of viewers do when consuming movies and media is to expect "villains" and "antagonists" that are just that, evil. But this is what it actually is. I don't even view Raim as a villain of this comic, she's just a character trying to survive her own story and if we watched the plot from her point of view all of her actions would be quite understandable and a lot of us would see ourselves in her. Eunheuk on the other hand seriously feels like an emotionally underdeveloped adult who has a vague picture of morals but has no idea how to stick to them. Like "I don't want to be like my father" then proceeds to almost copy paste his footsteps, wants to be a saviour but proceeds to hurt and let down every person who cares about him. Raim, even though quite messy, she understands who she is, what she wants, needs and why, in no part of the story did I ever feel like the author was trying to make us believe she was something she isn't. While Eunheuk on the other hand I feel like is being desperately forced to look like a misunderstood poor guy who is just trying his best to do the right thing. I'm not asking for a perfect character, give us flaws and mistakes but don't try to excuse them and force them into a mold that doesn't fit them. I don't have anything against Eunheuk fans but I hate how they are trying to excuse all of his actions and trying to paint him as a poor male lead who needs saving and acceptance from the fl. No, he needs some intensive self healing and reflexion and not a relationship he's definitely not ready for.

Facts. Ra-im is not a villain. She made some misguided choices, but her intentions are not malevolent. It's hypocritical when readers scream that Eunhyuk should be forgiven for his childhood mistakes but burn Ra-im at the stake for hers. The only real villains in this story are Professor Go and Haru, everyone else are their victims.
