I’ve played so many games in my life, but this was the first time I ever cried after beating one. To think that a game could make me so emotional over some characters I’ve known for less than a month, it’s so powerful. It’s hard to really explain the feeling I and so many others get when playing this game, but it really does connect with you on a level far beyond the surface, a level where emotional vulnerability is out in the open. That’s one of the lessons the game teaches you along the way, that it’s okay to be vulnerable with yourself, and I think it’s so beautiful seeing this game incorporate that message directly into the player by building that vulnerability. Absolutely wonderful game.
