I had a girlfriend surprise the 💩 out of me on Valentine's day once by having a bouquet of tiger lilies 🌻🌻🌻 delivered to me. That so completely caught me off guard it just amplified the great feeling I got receiving it. I was in my mid-twenties at the time & have never had a woman show similar appreciation of me since. As you indicated, most women (as well as society in general) seem to deem their existence in a man's life alone as something the man should feel very fortunate to have. 😔

is there a Valentine's Day for men? probably not. I'm 56 This September I got a flower bought once in highschool because she felt sorry for me, and one woman in my life later in years that bought me a flower. And it never happened any other time. So at the risk of sounding sanctimonious and self aggrandizing with a splash of virtue signalling, when it comes to Valentine's Day, Bah Humbug.
