Display Issues in Samsung SXX Ultra I am currently uncertain whether to proceed with purchasing the Samsung S26 Ultra. I have been a Samsung phone user since the introduction of Android touch screen devices. Over the years, I have used Note1, Note2, Note4, Note8, and later the S22 Ultra and S24 Ultra. My practice has been to upgrade to the latest model approximately every two years. From 2020 onwards, I have observed that the displays of Samsung’s premium models appear to be less durable. Personal Experience: - S22 Ultra: - Display issue arose after 16 months. - Display was replaced, but lasted only 3 months. - S24 Ultra: - Display issue occurred after 15 months, even though the installment plan was for 24 months and had not yet been completed. - I took the device to a Samsung store, where the display was replaced at a high cost. - I was not confident about the durability of the replacement display. - As a result, I traded in the device at the store and upgraded to the S25 Ultra. General Observation: In recent years, the displays in Samsung’s premium models do not seem to be as durable as before. I have been a loyal Samsung user since the early days of Android touch screens, and this is my genuine experience. Over time, users like me have indirectly contributed to strengthening the brand’s value. At the same time, I believe it is important to highlight flaws so that other users are better informed. This way, they can make thoughtful decisions, such as considering a two‑year warranty or exploring other Android options.
