Oscar growth in 6 months. From 2" to almost 9". : r/Aquariums
Oscar fish are fast-growing, often increasing in length by approximately 1 inch per month under ideal conditions. In 3 months, a juvenile Oscar can grow from roughly 1–2 inches to around 4–5 inches, assuming high-quality food, warm water, and adequate tank space, with some growing even faster.

Oscar fish is basically like a husky and an orange cat and a husband. Now the problems you would have on one day.
