@savjackson20: LOST IN THE BUSH? LET THE SUN GUIDE YOU⤵️ ☀️The sun and stick method is a natural way to find direction by placing a stick upright and watching how its shadow moves as the sun travels across the sky. By marking the shadow’s position over time, you can draw a line that shows East and West and use it to work out North and South. ☀️ Here is how it works: 1️⃣ Find a flat, sunny spot and place a straight stick upright in the ground. 2️⃣ Mark the tip of the stick’s shadow with a small stone or line in the sand. 3️⃣ Wait about 15–30 minutes for the sun to move and the shadow to shift. 4️⃣ Mark the new position of the shadow’s tip. 5️⃣ Draw a line between the two marks — this line runs East to West. 6️⃣ Stand with the first mark on your left and the second on your right — now you’re facing North, bush-style! ☀️🦁🐘🦓 #BushSkills #NatureNavigation #SafariLife #OutdoorLearning #bushwise @Bushwise Field Guides 🦁
