@digitalnepalofficial: Security personnel have seized vehicles operating without permits in the Kathmandu Valley on the day of the House of Representatives elections. In a bid to tighten security during the election, 900 vehicles operating without the Election Commission's permits have been seized from various locations in the valley. Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi has informed that vehicles being driven without Nepal permits (passes) have been taken under control. According to him, most of the vehicles were seized while operating in the 'core' area. According to the police, the operation of vehicles other than essential services has been banned on election day.
