During the call, Karki expressed appreciation on behalf of the Government of Nepal and the Nepali people, saying she was happy to hear that around 360,000 Nepalis working in Qatar are safe and well looked after. She also said Nepal is closely monitoring the recent developments in West Asia and called on all sides to remain calm, avoid escalating conflict, and ensure the safety of civilians. Qatar's Prime Minister praised the friendly and strong relationship between Nepal and Qatar and said Nepali workers have made valuable contributions to the country. He assured that Nepalis in Qatar will continue to receive the same security and protection as Qatari citizens during the current situation.
