Is free speech under attack in Britain? Last night I appeared on @GB News after two police officers came to my home following a complaint about one of my Instagram reels discussing the disposal of dead beagles from MBR Acres, Britain’s largest breeder of beagles for scientific research. The reaction has been extraordinary. Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp said police should be tackling real criminals, while Huntingdon MP Ben Obese-Jecty questioned why campaigners are facing police visits for speaking out online. On GB News, Alex Armstrong described the situation as “nuts” and questioned whether Britain was drifting towards 1984. The panel agreed police time should be spent tackling real crime—not investigating peaceful campaigners. The officers themselves were polite and appeared uncomfortable. I don’t blame them. I blame a system that sends police to campaigners’ homes instead of focusing on violent crime, burglary and stalking. After taking legal advice, I refused to accept a Community Resolution or complete the proposed online course. The police later took no further action. Whether you agree with my views or not, should anyone face a police visit for raising questions on matters they believe are supported by evidence and are in the public interest? What do you think? @The Free Speech Union @Camp Beagle #FreeSpeech #GBNews #OnlineSafetyAct #beagle #mbracres
