No because Nick defenders are like “the really changed up on his character he wasn’t evil!” He heard the conversations about “the ceremony”. Serena mentioned he was in the crusades. He was an eye and actually had the power to bring Fred And Serena to justice. Yall think he couldn’t say no to Serena when she asked him to sleep with June??? Again he was an EYE, a spy for Gilead to make sure that even the elite is following the rules of Gilead. But everyone acts as if he was this dude fighting against the system when he was actually just doing it for June. In the last season he actually confirmed that.

I get why they did what they did....but later on they could just have a season about different groups in Gilliad....season one about Handmaids, Season 2 about SOJ, Season 3 about wifes, than commanders etc.....because the show got repetive after some time with just focusing on June

I think this series has a lot of potential maybe after the testaments they may be a series named the memories or tales of gilead showing the life of some characters like nick or Esther for example

they played into the nick v Luke too much. we had janine & lydias back story though we got a small amount of nicks but not enough imo. we were told he was invaluable to the fight but not why they could have added it.

yes June's the main character but it's the handmaid's tale we saw Emily's scenes and she never told June like I mean in detail or when mark tells Fred about angels flight they just say anything at this point😒

I think the most interesting thing is June never asked and Nick never told her what he'd done. they both new on some level their relationship was a fantasy and they wanted to keep it that way. I think the ahowrunnwrs didn't want to break the fantasy for the audience. its clear *everybody* knows there's horror there, and no one chooses to see it. we're living in that exact same timeline now (epstein, Isreal, Minnesota)
