Honestly, it’s like any other type of plan, you have to make good decisions. I’m on keto and if I stop keto and start putting food back in my mouth, I’m going to gain it all back like I did last time. It’s common sense.

As a bariatric surgeon, I currently love and use GLP1s. However, there is a real concern that when stopping them, some of the weight comes back. Bariatric surgery not only has a better weight loss result (along with treatment of diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, decreased cancer risk, etc) but it also has a better Long Term success rate. It’s not choosing between surgery or medicine. It’s both! (Just like cardiac patients, cancer patients, orthopedic patients, and many other chronic diseases) Together, surgery AND GLP1s = success! 😁

Its calories. You can gain weight on GLP-1’s if you are not within a calorie deficit and you can keep it off when not on a GLP-1 if you eat in within a calorie deficit.

Run it live :
And insurance companies are canceling people and most can’t afford to pay on their own. Forcing the average person back to becoming unhealthy. This medication changed my life and broke habits including drinking. I’m grateful for resources to afford compounds many can’t and it’s wrong.
