People seeing this please remember if you’re open about your mental disorders you need to be extra careful because abusive people will seek you out as you’re viewed as an easier target for “crazy-making”

my therapist that had me after my abusive relationship was always upset bc of how insane i thought I was I felt that none of my emotions were trustworthy and would dismiss all of my own feelings bc i had been trained to believe that i was inherently irrational and crazy. She was such a gem bless her i remember one day she put her notebook down and took her glasses off and told me that despite what i believed that I am one of the most rational people she had worked with and that i am immensely emotionally intelligent and kind and that I am so far from crazy to the point that it distressed her greatly to hear how i spoke about myself and its stuck with me for years because her words were so kind and genuine, it really made me realise what a number he'd done on me

you walk around on egg shells or glass (depends on how you say it", because you dont want to upset them. You dont actually say how you feel, cause it will become into a problem When they feel attacked when its just confrontation

getting told you’ve always got an issue when you communicate a boundary and it then turns into an issue of god you’re always repeating yourself to gaslight you and deflect from the fact the call is coming from inside the house lmao

The BPD thing is a cannon event!!!! I went to three physiatrists convinced I had some serious mental health problem like this because my ex convinced me I did… they all told me to dump him. I still didn’t 😂 you have to laugh

if I told a story from work I would get the response "oh yeah and everyone clapped" or any opinion I had about anything I'd get "oh I saw it on Facebook so it must be true"

Don’t forget the argument they start and when you get upset and wanna be left alone they go “why you angry” when your just sitting there in silence trying to escape the situation

and I'd like to add that even if it's not "abuse" having multiple of these examples is still something to be weary of, and nobody really deserves any of it. would not call it abuse but was in a situation with a lot of of these examples, cruel name calling, body shaming, being called delusional and it was all "my fault" and for the longest time I believed it, every word, felt so small and useless and weak. honestly if it wasn't for my lil sis giving me one hell of a drunk pep talk afters I still would - so yeah even if you're confident something isn't "abusive" as soon as a partner consistently does some of these things never just put up with it or stand for it
