@police2471: Two Stanley knives discovered in the car late at night triggers an immediate arrest on suspicion of carrying a bladed article. The suspect’s desperate plea— I work in a warehouse!—clashes hard with the officer's caution. Watch the raw confrontation as they demand their phone before heading to the station. This clip is next-level intensity from the craziest police docuseries out there! #PoliceIntervention #Arrested #StanleyKnife #UKPolice #RawFootage
They going to start arresting tradesman for having multiple Stanley blades then? Melts

He had a reasonable excuse. He works in a warehouse.

they are arresting him for having a blade in a public place but the blade was in his private car How does that make sense

Is this arrest really in the public interest? Can they not use a bit of discretion and at least hear him out?

He would have been released pretty quickly after, he’s got a legitimate reason to have them in his car

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it blade length that matters? Pretty sure Stanley knife blades are like 6cm max. How slow’s your night gotta be to arrest a young lad who works in a warehouse?

People saying you need a legal reason, I’m pretty sure working in a warehouse is a pretty good reason, when I used to work we could bring our own in since the provided ones where terrible and a knife was necessary to cut cord, boxes, wrap etc, not to mention most warehouses run 24/7

and if you're a tree surgeon with axes in your car, same thing will happen. police don't care, they expect you to teleport your tools around with you 😒

The blade is well under 3 inches, it is legal to carry, no reason needed but it does help to have one, i.e. works in a warehouse and cuts boxes open. Warehouses can operate at all times, day and night.

If the blade is under 3” and not a lock knife it’s legal so I gather it would get thrown out of court unless he has threatened someone

Technically you can’t get charged for that as the blade is smaller than 3 inches

So because of the time of night we can’t have Stanley’s in our vehicles so by their logic every tradesman’s gunna have to empty their van at night 🤔🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣
